Main Opportunities

1)      Economic condition: Empowered by a new constitution and administration, Kenya is approaching the private sector as a central partner in the development and growth of the Kenya economy;

2)      Policy incentives: The new Jubillee Administration highly regards private sectors as the central partner for economic growth. It is making efforts for business environment reforms and open market access system. The devolution of power makes it possible for county governments to develop the local economy based on the local experience;

3)      Low risk investment environment: In 2013, Kenya was the top destination for international investors in the East Africa Region after attracting 12 private equity deals valued at over 110.5 million US dollars. In 2014, the FDI inflows grew near 100% compared with 2013; and in 2015, PwC ranked Nairobi as the most attractive African city for FDI.
