On June 23, 2015, the 2015 China Supplier Conference, held by CCCMHPIE in collaboration with Global Fund took place in Shanghai. With the theme of Expanding Access to Medicines, qualified manufacturers have been invited to the conference to exchange views with Global Fund experts concerning issues of common interest. Experts from Global Fund also gave presentations on the latest procurement challenges, market capacity and requirements for procured products. This meeting has been the second of its kind since the two organizations started cooperation in 2014. Such platform aims to set up the bridge between Chinee suppliers and Global Fund procurement team, so that a smooth channel can be built up for Chinese companies to access the needed markets.
